Professional invoices in 156 currencies, with as many clients as you like. Estimates and quotes are always free, and credits never expire — so a quiet month costs nothing.
How it works
Three steps, and one rule about what you pay for.
Build the document
Line items, taxes per line, your logo, any currency. Drafts and clients are unlimited and cost nothing.
Send it
A polished PDF by email, under your own subject and wording. Your brand is on it — ours is not.
Get paid
Your client pays by card from the invoice itself. It marks itself paid when the money lands.
A credit is spent at one moment only: when you issue an invoice — and a new account's first 3 are on us. Drafts, clients, PDF downloads, sending, payments received — and every estimate and quote you ever write — cost nothing, on any balance. See exactly what a credit covers →
What a year of invoicing actually costs
Same work, billed three different ways. Competitor prices checked August 2026 — each figure is cited on its comparison page.
| How you're charged | What it comes to | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| BillingHub — 25 invoices | USD 25.00 once | None. They never expire, and a month you don't invoice costs nothing. |
| FreshBooks Lite vs BillingHub | $23 / month — $276 a year | Capped at 5 billable clients. Each extra user is $11 a month. |
| Invoice Simple Plus vs BillingHub | $14.99 / month — $179.88 a year | 10 invoices a month on Plus; Essentials, the cheapest paid plan at $6.99, caps you at 3. |
| Stripe Invoicing vs BillingHub | 0.4% of every paid invoice | Scales with the invoice, not the work: $9.60 on a single $2,400 bill. |
A subscription charges you for January whether or not you invoiced in January, and a percentage charges you more for the same document simply because the number on it is bigger. A credit is a flat fee for one issued invoice, it is charged once, and it waits in your account until you use it.
“But Zoho, Wave and Square are free.”
They are, and they are good products. Here is what free costs, as of August 2026 — each name goes to our comparison page for it, where the figure is cited:
- Wave is free, or $19 a month for Pro. The Wave logo prints on your invoice. Card fees are 2.9% + $0.60 — $70.20 on a $2,400 invoice.
- Square Invoices is free, plus 3.3% + 30¢ per card payment. Square supports no multi-currency at all — it charges in your own country’s currency and converts nothing.
- Zoho Invoice is free. Base currency only, and Zoho’s own branding on every invoice.
If you bill in one currency, from one of those countries, and you don't mind another company's logo on your document, use the free one — genuinely. BillingHub is for everyone else: 156 currencies, clients in 250 countries, your brand alone on the page, and a price that doesn't care how large the invoice is.
Everything you need to bill
Included in the product, not sold as add-ons.
Estimates & quotes
Write as many as you like — they never spend a credit, on any balance. Your client accepts or declines from a link, and you turn the accepted one into an invoice.
Get paid by card
Every invoice carries a pay button. The money goes to your own Stripe account, and the invoice settles itself the moment it clears.
Recurring invoices
Put a retainer on a schedule — weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly — and it issues itself without anyone opening the app.
API & webhooks
Create, issue, send and settle documents from your own system, and get told when one is paid. Read the reference.
Know where you stand
See when a client opened the invoice, when it was sent, and every status it has held — on a timeline that is never rewritten.
Any currency, any tax
156 currencies, and VAT or sales tax on each line at whatever rate your country asks for — several per line, each totalled on the document.
Works where you work
The limits that other invoicing tools sell you out of, we don't have.
Currencies
Invoice in any of them, not only the one your account was opened in.
Countries
For your business and for your clients, with the tax lines your invoice needs.
Clients
On every plan. Nobody here charges you more for having a fifth customer.
Logos of ours
Your document carries your brand and nothing else, on every plan including free.
Three of these four are somebody's paywall:
- Currencies. Xero: Established plan only
- Clients. Billdu: 10 on Lite, 50 on Standard, unlimited on Premium
- Your own logo. Invoice Ninja: The free plan prints “Created by Invoice Ninja” in the body of every document it sends, and removing it is what Pro sells.
Two honest notes. Card payment works wherever Stripe Connect operates, which is not all 250 countries — everything else on this page works everywhere. And 250 countries means addresses and tax lines, not a claim to match every country's local accounting rules.
