What Xero is good at
Growing and Established are proper double-entry accounting with bank reconciliation, project tracking and multiple currencies built in — for a business that wants all of that under one subscription, Xero is mature, capable software, and this page isn't arguing otherwise.
Where it stops
- Early, the plan this page is about, caps you at 20 invoices a month — sending a 21st means upgrading, not just paying more for the one you sent.
- That cap sits below Early's own break-even, so no amount of volume inside the plan ever brings its per-invoice cost down to a dollar — the ceiling and the floor sit on the wrong sides of each other.
- Multiple currencies are an Established-only feature, by Xero's own comparison table — a client who pays you in anything but your own currency needs the most expensive of the three plans.
When to choose Xero over us
