Pressure Washing Invoice Template

Surfaces by square foot, soft wash, chemicals and water. Free PDF, no account.

Edit this template

Pressure washing is sold by the surface and priced by what that surface can take. A driveway wants pressure and a roof wants none — soft washing is a chemical process at low pressure, and billing both as "pressure washing" is how a roof gets damaged by someone who thought they bought the same thing.

What to put on a pressure washing invoice

  • Each surface by type and square footage: driveway, siding, roof, deck
  • Whether it was pressure washed or soft washed, which are different processes
  • Chemicals and detergents used, particularly on roofs and painted siding
  • Water supply, where you hauled it rather than using the customer's
  • Any sealing or post-treatment, which is separate work
  • Surfaces you declined and why — a note here prevents an argument later

Questions

What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

Pressure removes dirt mechanically; soft washing kills organic growth chemically at garden-hose pressure. Roofs, painted siding and older wood need the second, and an invoice that names which was used is the record that the right process was applied to the right surface.

Should I bill for water?

If you hauled it, yes. On commercial sites and new builds there is often no supply, and a tank of water plus the trip to fill it is a real cost that a per-square-foot rate set on residential work never covered.
