Pressure Washing Quote Template

Measured surfaces, soft wash or high pressure, and what will not come out. Free PDF, no sign-up.

Washing is priced by area and by method, and both are settled at the walkthrough — measure the driveway, look at the siding, decide between a soft wash and high pressure. That is a fixed price with nothing hidden in it, provided the quote is honest about the one thing clients most often expect for free: stains that will not come out. Say which ones the wash removes and which ones need a treatment, and the finished job matches the document.

What will and will not come out
Organic growth, algae and general grime come off completely. The oil shadow near the garage will lighten but not disappear, and the two rust stains are treated chemically rather than washed.

What this quote commits you to

How long it stands
30 days, and covers the surfaces measured at the walkthrough — an area that measures larger on the day is quoted again before we start.
What it does not cover
Sealing or staining after the wash, roof cleaning, repair of mortar or timber the wash exposes, and gutter interiors.
What would change the price
Staining that needs a chemical treatment and a second pass — rust, tannin bleed, or a surface that has never been washed.
How the client accepts it
Reply to accept and confirm an outside tap is available; we schedule on the forecast, within a day either side of the date agreed.

What to put on a pressure washing quote

  • Each surface measured, in square feet, with its material named
  • Method per surface — soft wash at low pressure, or high pressure
  • Detergents and treatments used, and dwell time where it matters
  • Stains the wash is expected to remove, and those it is not
  • Water source: the property's own tap, or a tank you bring
  • Protection of plants, fixtures and anything the runoff will reach
  • Sealing or staining afterwards, quoted separately if wanted

Questions

Why does the quote name the pressure?

Because the wrong one destroys the surface. Soft washing a roof and blasting it are two different jobs with two different outcomes, and a homeowner comparing prices has no way of knowing which one they are being sold unless the document says.

How do you quote stains you might not be able to remove?

By naming them. Rust, tannin bleed and tyre marks may need a chemical treatment and a second pass, so price that as an option — a client who has read it accepts the result, and a client who has not thinks the job was done badly.

Does weather affect a fixed price?

It affects the schedule, not the number. Say on the quote that the date moves with the forecast, so a rescheduled morning is a known condition of the trade rather than a broken promise.

Does this work for a window cleaning quote?

Yes, with the measure swapped. Windows are counted in panes rather than square feet, and three things decide the price once you have the count: whether it is exterior only or both sides, whether screens and tracks are included, and how the glass is reached — pole from the ground, ladder, or rope access above the second floor. Put all three on the quote and a window count stops being a price on its own.
